Monday through Sunday 10am - 10pm
Both retail bakery and sit down cafe, the patisserie features signature cakes, cookies, cupcakes, chocolates and other confections, and pastries all of which are made in house, along with espresso drinks, teas and sandwiches.
We are also know for our whimisical kid's cakes, festive holiday cakes, pies and tarts, as well as, beautiful, delicious, and sometimes outrageous custom and wedding cakes.
We do our best to be well stocked daily, if you have a large order or special request, we encourage you to call ahead at (415) 861-2228.

After Midnight Chocolate Cake
Our signature chocolate cake. Devil’s food cake layered with Scharffen-Berger dark and El Rey milk chocolate mousse. Finished with dark chocolate ganache, white & dark chocolate work and edible gold leaf.
Retro Tropical Shag
Genoise cake splashed with rum and an exotic passion fruit mousse, covered in vanilla buttercream and carpeted with un-sweetened coconut.
Mocha Mi Su
Layers of cocoa genoise cake, mocha mousse and crème fraiche mousse. Finished with chocolate ganache and coffee buttercream.
Angel Food Cake, serves 10
The heavenly classic, served with a side of whipped cream.
Boston Cream Pie, serves 8-10
An orange twist on the original. Sponge cake layered with orange infused custard and covered in a chocolate glaze.
Carrot Cake, serves 10-12
Classic carrot cake made with organic carrots, walnuts, coconut and currants with a hint of cocoa powder. Finished with cream cheese frosting and marzipan carrots. This cake may also be ordered in larger sizes.
Flourless Chocolate Cake, serves 8
It’s all about chocolate! Extreme chocolate cake using Scharffen-Berger bittersweet chocolate...and not much else.
Pineapple Upside-Down Cake, serves 8-10
Ultra moist cake with brown sugar candied pineapple.
Vanilla Cheesecake, serves 10-12
A blend of fromage blanc and Tahitian vanilla with a sucre crumb crust.

Drop in for our famous Cupcakes. We serve up the following daily, Tuesday through Sunday. You may also pre-order Cupcakes in our special flavors, a dozen minimum per flavor required.

Rocky Road Cupcake
We take chocolate chiffon cake and top it with chocolate frosting folded with chunks of Citizen Cake marshmallow and walnuts then dip
it in chocolate. Yum!

Chocolate chiffon cake filled with vanilla cream with a chocolate ganache glaze on top.
Lem-ania Cupcake
A Citizen Cupcake favorite! Lemon buttermilk cake, lemon curd injection, lemon zest frosting finished with vanilla bean meringue sticks.

Whimsical and yummy, our Kid's cakes bring on the cheers and smiling faces. Choose either devil’s food or vanilla buttermilk cake, we finish it off with vanilla buttercream. More please!

If you are looking for more servings than the suggested size, cupcakes are always a fun way to go and we can do pretty frosting to match the color scheme of the cake. More yum!
